Visiting Egypt’s Archaeological Sites Just Got Easier Through the New E-Ticketing System

Beginning on May 15, tourists and visitors will be able to reserve tickets for Egypt's museums and archaeological sites via a new electronic payment-based e-ticketing system. Any tourist will therefore be able to reserve a ticket using their credit card on the ministry's official website, Egy Monuments. The website provides access to all of Egypt's archaeological sites, including the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo, the Dendera Temple in Qena, and the Karnak Temple in Luxor.

In addition to limiting the issue of false tickets, this overhaul of the ticketing procedure was undertaken to enhance the experience of tourists and visitors visiting Egypt. Additionally, the new service will assist with the continuing digital transformation of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquity.
